- It can happen that images are saved at the wrong patients database.
Maybe one has forgotten to change patient in DentalEye. In some PM
systems the patients social security ID can be changed. Connecting from
that PM system to DentalEye will cause DentalEye to create a new patient
in it´s database, based on that (changed) ID. It can then be practical
to move the images from the old patient to the new.
- In this short presentation we would like to show how to move images
between patients is a simple way.
3
- Check that ID´s ar correct in PM system.
- Check Patient A with images = source
- Check Patient B = target
4
- Retrieve Patient A from the ”Search patient” (F4) window.
- Retrieve the imagecard containing the images to be moved.
- Right-click the images and choose ”Copy”.
5
- To check that all the images are copied to the clipboard, click in the
imagelist to see the contents of the clipboard.
6
- Retrieve Patient B in the ”Find patient” window (F4).
7
- Click in the imagelist to see the contents of the Clipboard
8
- Drag-and-drop the images from the Clipboard unto a new Imagecard.
- If needed, arrange the images using a grid.
9
- When all images are placed on the Imagecard, you should save the
Imagecard to store the images.
10
- Check that all the images are saved by clicking in the imagelist
(CTRL+F1).
11
- The images would need to be removed from Patient A. Retrieve Patient A
again using the ”Search patient” window (F4)
12
- The easiest way to remove images is by right-clicking the image and
choose ”Change approval”. The image will then be displayed with a red
corner in the upper left side of the image.
13
- Right-click the image and choose ”Delete” to delete the image. Repeat
this for all images.
14
- When deleting images, DentalEye asks you for confirmation. Choose ”Yes”.
- Since the images are not approved you can choose to permanently delete
the images from the database. Choose ”Yes”.
- When removing the last image from the Imagecard, DentalEye also asks you
to confirm the deletion of the Imagecard itself. Choose ”Yes”
15
- The Clipboard can contain up to 9 images.
- The Clipboard is emptied when DentalEye is shut down or when you choose
to ”Clear clipboard” from the Edit menu.
- The clipboard is only available on the local PC.
